A luxurious statement piece for any home office, bedroom, or creative corner. This beautifully upcycled bureau blends style and practicality—equally suited as a writing desk or dressing table. Its damask pink exterior is complemented by a soft vintage white interior, creating a gentle contrast that feels both fresh and timeless. The writing flap features a hand-stencilled water lily motif, delicately accented with gold for a touch of understated grandeur that continues across the small interior drawers.
The drawer fronts have been carefully stripped back to reveal the beauty of the original wood, then oiled and buffed to a smooth, natural matte finish. Each one is framed in damask pink with a subtle touch of gold for added refinement. The original brass knobs have also been revived, bringing back their warm, timeless shine.
It now stands out whilst fitting in and is ready for a new home after being lovingly rejuvenated. This bureau belonged to the owner’s grandfather but lack of space in their new home brought it to me. It has now been refined and the bureau will live for many more years in its new form.
This classy piece of furniture has a beautiful matte finish with a tough top coat for extra protection and durability.
