Furniture maestro, E Gomme from High Wycombe, made this petite yet solid wood bureau some 90 years ago. It has withstood the sands of time and has been brought bang up to date in soft French Eggshell with contrasting soft white cubby holes. However, it is the drawer fronts which render this desk unique.

Open the carved cupboard doors to reveal a swathe of French transcripts in amongst blousy blooms. The pull down writing flap also features the cursive writing and the small drawers the flowers. The entire bureau, including the transfer designs, has been protected with a clear matte topcoat and is now ready to grace any home office.

The desk includes three good sized drawers and the cupboard doors have new brushed satin nickel drawer knobs which gives this traditional desk a fresh and modern finish. Work in style in a desk plenty large enough for a desktop PC.

It is pretty, gentle and tactile as well as being very practical. It measures 97 cm high, 68 cm wide and 42 cm deep extending to 71 cm flap open.
