This dressing table was a wedding gift for a lady who had to wait for her fiancé to return from war in 1918. It has remained in the same family ever since. It is not known whether it was new at this time but regardless, this is an old piece which has been gently updated in a dusty pink. The handles are vintage Stag drawer pulls from another era but which work beautifully on these drawers.

The mirror is in extremely good condition, belying its long life. It is removable and tilts a little. Each drawer has been lined with pretty antique rose paper.

Although I have renovated the dressing table, it has retained much of its vintage character. The drawers measure 94cm wide, 93cm high to the top of the drawers and 167 cm to the top of the mirror. It is 42cm deep.
