For anyone who loves a touch of decadence in their home, this statement piece with copper touches makes this unique piece of furniture a little ostentatious without being OTT. The inside, inspired by the art deco carving on the outside, brings this cocktail cabinet luxuriously into the 21st Century. There is a huge nod to The Great Gatsby courtesy of stencils gifted by @lottiesvintagehome, picked out in copper which pops against the pale interior. The drawer handles are the originals which have been revived again with splashes of copper.

Opulent, luxurious and self-indulgent. This is a one-off bespoke piece in every sense.

This is also my most eco-friendly upcycle to date

Cornish Milk Mineral paint gives a soft touch finish and contains no toxins, no added VOCs, no chemicals and is 100% vegan (no milk or milk proteins).  Furthermore, the paint carton is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. It is British made by a small company in…Cornwall.

The wood has been finished in Osmo Polyx Oil which uses natural oils (sunflower, soya, linseed and thistle oils) and hard waxes (carnauba and candelilla) for its finishes.

The Posh Chalk copper uses concentrated natural minerals, not synthetic.

The cabinet itself is an unwanted, outdated piece saved from landfill.

It measures 76 cm wide, 106 cm high and 43 cm deep.
