This carved Jacobean style cabinet has been brought out from under it’s very dark varnish sombre cloak and now wears a very gentle coat of blended colours.

I have used a layering technique of multiple paint colours to lift the neat but drab piece and showcase the wonderful carving, lightening and brightening it to now enhance a lounge or hallway. A real statement piece of upcycled furniture.

The top has been stripped, sanded, waxed, and buffed to reveal its oak glory. Ideal for a TV cabinet perhaps?

This all renders this cabinet unique – you will not find another.

It is practical, stylish and definitely a statement piece of furniture.

The cabinet measures 100 cm wide, 74 cm high and 49 cm deep.
